37099 has been released from repaint this afternoon working 0Z37 Cardiff Canton to Derby RTC. Of note it has a covered up nameplate, I doubt it'll be "Clydebridge" though.

37099 has been named "Merl Evans 1947-2016". Merl spent his career working on model products including the Bachmann range.

56094 is back in traffic having being out since 2014. More exciting news regarding 56s Is that No's 56049 and 56051 are to return to mainline operation early next year for the first time since EWS exported them to France around 2004/05.

Acquired from DB are 67023 and 67027.

67023 and 67027 have been allocated to the COTS pool which is for Class 37s. This seems to indicate that they will be used on test trains.

A lot of work is needed to get them fit for traffic. When it eventually happens don't expect to see 68s hired in for test trains much more!

67023 has already moved to MAINT state at Crewe IEMD.

70811 and 70812 due end of the month.
