37099 has blown a piston whilst working a test train up in Scotland. It could quite easily mean it is withdrawn due to non cost effective repair, 421 has just had a power unit replacement. Await further developments.
At Barrow Hill a replacement power unit has been sourced for 37099. It is said to be in stock and therefore will not affect the ongoing overhaul of 37207.
A class 60 will attend the East Lancashire Railway's diesel gala next month.
At Barrow Hill, HN Rail are prepping and repainting 37612 for long term hire. The rebuilt power unit for 37099 is progressing well and should be dropped into the loco during September.
37175, 37254 and WCRC 37669 allocated to work 'The 565 Special' Charter on Saturday.
Overhauled 56049 will make it's return to glory at Old Oak Common Open Day on Saturday.
Following the display at OOC111 of 56049, classmate 56090 has now appeared outside at Washwood Heath restored and in full fleet livery.
Expect both to be out on mainline tests soon, lovely stuff!

37025 must have made quite a bit of money for the Scottish 37 Group. It has been on hire to Colas since April 2016.

Change of plan, it’s now working a Devon & Cornwall test train which doesn’t return to Derby till Friday.
