RE: 2013/14 Football Season
Quite a scrap for that fourth place this season, the first three are sorted,i think the Reds,Everton,

or Man Utd will take it,but we must strengthen the squad this month not good enough when

injuries hit

Think the only problem Manchester United have had is that they havent had Rooney and Van Persie together often enough this year , so i agree Liverpool need to start looking strengthening the under belly of the team a bit , instead of using bit part players .

We have a great team but a weak squad, if we did make the Champions League we certainly won't get very far with what we've got now. Therefore we need one or two first team additions this month, rather than trying to get 6 or 7 in in the summer.

Anybody who says that they dont want to play in the FA Cup like one Premier Manager said this past week should hang there head in shame as this Cup Competition is the white knight for the lower league teams if they can get through the first two rounds .

Well, he got his cumuppance, but we just couldn't find the second goal to dispose of a rather soft Sheffield Wednesday side this afternoon.

Replay week Tuesday should be televised and thus generate enough cash to see us through to the end of the seasonLOL

Ah well, that's it until next year. At 1-1 we hit the Sheffield Wednesday post and crossbar but they had 3 shots in final 20 minutes and hit the onion bag with all of them Undecided

We took nearly 3,000 over the Pennines through the snow to Hillsborough and sang for 90 minutes. Great night.

Also said a silent prayer for those that lost theirs lives and their families that had to fight to get the truth about what really happened on that terrible day.

RE: 2013/14 Football Season
Well that past weekend saw some daylight appear between the top three teams and the following set of teams .

Manchester City just seem to be going from strength to strength now that they have passed the mark of 100 goals in a season in only 34 matches , they now have there sights set on a record that the other half of Manchester has had for a while now which is 143 goals in all competitions set in 1956/7 , think losing that record would be more galling for Manchester United supporters than the way the players seem to be performing now .

With debts like that would not surprise me if they are the next to go into administration .

Only £10m of the £150m+ debt is owed to banks though. The remainder to the majority shareholder/benefactor at 0% interest

As a football club they claim to have some pretty strong assets on the balance sheet. The Chairman suggests they shouldn't worry! (usually the first indication to start worrying!!)

Oh well Moyes !!

What else cant go right for you at the moment , Manchester United won the second leg 2-1 after extra time which made the game 3-3 and because both teams happened to score an away goal , the game went to those dreaded spot kicks .

To be honest i have not seen such an inept amount of spot kicks in one place in my whole life to date , out of nine spot kicks only three actually hit the target , Sundeland 2 out of 5 a 40% success rate and even worse for Manchester United 1 out of 4 a 25% success rate .

Will Mata make a difference or does the team need even more than him in this transfer window.
