Arriva North West - Green Lane Depot
RE: Arriva North West - Green Lane Depot
Pleasing to see that the new double deckers have been confirmed as Euro V examples, given the disappointing quality of the Euro VI ones I've sampled in Manchester so far. Generally a ride quality no better than the Euro Vs (certainly not 'rattle free' as hinted in publicity) and a heating system that is nowhere near as effective as Arriva's new Euro V Enviro400s. To me, the Euro VI Enviro400s I've been on so far are a retrograde step if anything.

I think they've made the right choice with the routes as well, as the 12/13 and 15 are probably the worst two to use at peak times currently. It would be very useful if they start using them on the 26/27 routes on evenings with matches at Anfield. In the future, I hope the 14 and 18 are also upgraded to double deckers and then, finally, Green Lane depot will be approaching the capacity it requires.
