7657 worked the last timetabled route 8 departure from Liverpool today, a short journey to Old Swan. Green Lane's last Marshall in service is reasonably good for the most part: it did jolt at times but on the other hand managed London Road surprisingly well. Interior was also in respectable condition. Just a shame about the miserable as sin driver! Every day could potentially be the end of the line for 7657 now and there were shades of 7537 tonight in that it too worked the last timetabled 8 on a Friday night and never saw service again.
