Thanks Ace Dodgy

Things seemed to good to be true with the influx of quieter, younger Enviro400's at AZ.

Well the good news is, next year there may be plenty more younger Enviro400's where they came from as Manchester is set to welcome a large number of Euro6 engined Enviros early next year, so that may be the end for the Euro3 trash cans we are putting up with at the moment.

Carnt see AZ getting any. It will be the vehicles that nobody else wants lol.

Magic Bus Trident seen this morning@10:45 heading south on the M66 near Edenfield.

Oh? That snook off quietly while no one was looking, or is it going to Cheltenham on loan for the Gold Cup? LOL

Manchester are supplying some vehicles apparently.

Well at least they may get an upgrade to 58/09 reg Enviro400's. So at least the residents may get some sleep at night Sleepy

Other than that, there's not much in there that we didn't already know.

Plenty of those dreaded 56 plate Enviro400's to be cascaded though, I wonder who'll be so unfortunate.

19103 arrived from Sharston on Monday at Wigan, it's been fitted with a ticket machine and dests programmed and is ready for service.

Send some of the 56-plate Enviro400s to Liverpool, where they'd be welcomed with open arms. It could be worse for you: our paltry fleet of 9 deckers is made up of rancid ex-London Tridents which ride dreadfully.

And 19089 is on service to 621 Kitt green this morning at 10.45 or 10.50am.

The ex London Tridents that ended up in Manchester (and are still here!) are just as bad, apart from the first couple that were converted the rest are dire, but it's surprising as the original Manchester examples which are slightly older actually perform a lot better and seem to be in better condition. The one at AZ is a cracking bus.

I do agree with you, having ridden several of the native Manchester ALX400s on Magic Bus routes. They're not bad at all in the ride department, despite their tired interiors.

I also think the tridents, certainly the Manchester-born ones are a lot more comfortable to sit in than the Enviro400's. The seats are a single long 2 seater cushion, as opposed to a split 2 seats on the Enviro400's.
Be careful what you wish for 507009. A few 56 reg Enviro400's are earmarked for M&SL I believe LOL
