Could just be an attempt to get increased funding.
Or perhaps another operator with lower costs will take it on, as has happened with the Saturday service.

62 hasn’t done well since Halton went so no surprises it’s getting withdrawn but Howard’s could run the Monday to Friday as well if they think it’s worth it.

Do we perhaps look at the fact WOB spent ages running the 62 to Halebank competing with another operator? And do we look at the unreliability which has been faced on the route. Or do we look at the fact WOB has kept it completely separate to the College runs, which if the two were integrated, the viability would be much better with the cross subsidy.

Shame that Sandymoor is so poorly served as well considering that its massively grown in recent years and still growing now. It's not near the busway so no one cares about it. It's amazing to see how much Runcorns bus patronage has tanked post Covid. The poor quality of all operators in the area is clearly not helping to get people back to buses.

Apparently a battery electric double decker demonstrator Enviro400EV is currently with the company.

There isn't.

It didn’t. It hasn’t yet entered public service.

741 is a School route to Carmel College and only runs in the morning during term-time Mon-Fri.

Regarding the double-deck Geminis and single-deck Enviros recently acquired, it seems branding is being applied rather than the full livery for now.

e.g. 324 (WU09 BCZ) seen in this photo, credit to Nick Thomson:

Worth mentioning also that a number of deckers are out on the annual C1/C2 Creamfields runs today.

Some vehicles on Cat5/X5 are running hideously late too. A 5-minute turnaround just isn't nearly enough between the 3-hour runs to Altrincham / Manchester Airport and back, especially with driver changes.

Usual precautions with Bustimes, but it appears 305 might have got out onto a short Cat5 to Sale in the evening.

With some schools going back tomorrow and some already back, it seems the newly acquired Geminis are getting a run out today, with many being on the 17s.
