On a plus note though this morning I had bolton president 4170, brilliant bus luvly smooth ride. Obviously think these have got different suspension to a DLA which means they don't crash around over the bumps so much. Also following warning:

As copey mentioned above, with edleston rd closed for poss a month, think we're just gonna have to grin & bear any late running buses & missed connections in crewe etc etc. I'd also like to advise you gents, stay the hell outta northwich!!! Its feckin blue murder this wk so far with the council working on the one way system there's traffic backed up around the town centre 24/7 atm.

Latest info we have is that the Eddleston Rd closure has been put back to August 16th.
For the duration of the school holidays we are going to use the Bolton presidents plus the 2 volvos [4215&4216] on the 84's while we can. This will start tomorrow.
4490 is returning to Macc tomorrow after its safety service to be swapped with 4156.
