Stagecoach MCSL - Chester & Wirral Depots
RE: Stagecoach MCSL - Chester & Wirral Depots
Looks like Chester will have a bus on the 1 unless it runs dead to/from RF (0540 to Liverpool, 2250 to Chester arr 0017)

Those journeys don't seem to match up on the running boards which to me would suggest Chester aren't going to have a dedicated board/vehicle. Looks like either a bit of early morning/late night dead running or perhaps a Rock Ferry MMC will be outstationed at Chester overnight.

I don't know how true but I heard all 1/X1 are going be back at Birkenhead due to the 23 route starting in Chester also apparently all 1/X1 have to be double decked after this change

The person who told me works at Chester so I suspect the info to be genuine

The 1/X1 are going back to a combined 20 min rather than 15 min due to the BSIP money ending and Stagecoach having made the decision not to continue it at the higher frequency commercially. The increase in frequency resulted 4 extra X1 running boards from Chester operated with E200MMC's. It stands to reason with the X1 decreasing again that it's these Chester boards which will be cut and the resources re-allocated to the 23 contract.
