One of the two Electroliners delivered to Gillmoss, '52437' has now been registered MF26DZK and has already been out on driver familiarisation duties.....

They will be moving once Go North West takeover. As happened with Bolton and wythenshawe all Arriva buses will be removed on the evening prior to switchover. No buses currently at laird street will remain ALL will remain with Arriva. Same will happen at st Helen’s too. Wright StreetDeck diesels are being ordered so some may go to Birkenhead.

I therefore reckon that if possible the Metro liveried Enviro200-MMCs will stay in Merseyside, or Runcorn for Liverpool-bound routes, or be repainted and redeployed elsewhere if Arriva lose everything through franchising.

Could Runcorn have a full fleet of them if Halton decide not to be part of franchising and Arriva get to keep it?

The numbers may tally to enable that. I gather Runcorn has been excluded from TfLCR franchising.

Seems to make sense but they’ll probably have to get painted into Journey Mark though.

It may be that Arriva painted a few into Metro livery to show willing to partake in TfLCR franchising.

I don't think it has been confirmed whether they are bidding to keep existing work. I reckon they are, as they know the area well and are still active in route tendering in London.
