Drivers have the discretion whether to allow passengers to bring them onto the vehicle or not

Company policy unfortunately even if it sounds silly I got caught out with it myself the other week with hot food but I didn’t make a big deal out of it I wonder if it was the same driver that has done this

I think its widespread in the industry - presumably to avoid being sued if someone slips on a wet or greasy floor.
