Can someone please explain why Bangor and Bootle vehicles are being temporarily swapped for Aintree races and why the Bootle ones aren’t being used for Aintree.

They normally use the newest vehicles possible at Aintree (it's within the course).

There are no longer enough spares. The same batch need to be used and the Evoras give the right image for Arriva for the event so buses loaned from across the area as required.

Unfortunately yes it has

It has recently been reported round next month, Bangor have ordered 10 more of brand new Volvo B8RLE MCV Evoras and 5 more of brand new ADL Enviro 200 MMCs with Optare Solos and Pulsars going eventually, apparently these new buses are to be going on Anglesey routes.

The current Volvo's at Bangor are reportedly coming to Chester to replace aging 58/59/10 reg Pulsar's.

Sounds good, they’ll definitely replace all the 58’s, the 59/09’s up to 2991, they will need something for 2992 2994 3013 3014 3015 and 3059
