RE: The Open Golf Championship
Sorry for being a bit late but Phil Mickelson won the 142nd Open Golf Championship , the course seem to have a mind of its own with some tough pin positions used by the R&A.

The 143rd Open Golf Championship will be held at the Royal Liverpool Golf Course at Hoylake in July 2014.

RE: The Open Golf Championship
Gutted for Lee but he's still too good a golfer not to win a major in my opinion. Still, you'll do well to find a bloke as genuinely nice as Phil Mickelson, so if an American golfer had to win it, I'm pleased it was Phil.

Taking place at the moment is the Seniors Open Championship at the Royal Birkdale. Bernhard Langer is leading this after three rounds, the final rounds taking place tomorrow.

RE: The Open Golf Championship
Phil Mickelson always seems to be there or thereabouts when it comes to the Majors .

He does have an advantage over a lot of his fellow golfers in being a left hander , youll find a lot of courses these days set up for right handers not left handers .

Oh and before i forget the same thing will happen again for 2014 Open Championship the train service will terminate at Hoylake , with the track removed to provide level access to the driving range for vehicles . Buses will operate beyond Hoylake to West Kirby .

RE: The Open Golf Championship
The 2015 Open Golf championship is starting to struggle weatherwise.

The second round is yet to be completed after the Second Round started three hours , with people still not having completed there rounds when play was suspended at 2150 hours last night due to the lack of light , they had to come back and start this morning , those on the course only had 27 minutes this morning before play was suspended due to extremely high winds , making play impossible on the greens .

When the Third Round starts is anyones guess now .
