355 could have been another one, (Liverpool - Skelmersdale), this replaced the 365 which I think went a different route as that went Wango Lane, Ormskirk Lane, Walton Vale, think 355 went Longmoor Lane.

Then the 355 was axed and the 345 was sent through Kirkby for a few years.

Just after dereg, the 329 ran from Skelmersdale - Rainford - St Helsns - Warrington with the 339 (Skelm - Ormskirk - Rainford - St Helens - Warrington) being the evening & Sunday variant (daytimes 309 ran Ormskirk - St Helens - Warrington).

Also when Skelhorne Street closed in September 1989 the 345 ran Penny Lane - Liverpool - Aintree - Skelmersdale - Wigan and the 355 ran Penny Lane - Liverpool - Kirkby - Skelmersdale - Wigan.

RE: Ribble & north western in skelmersdale
From memory and around late 70's early 80's:-
Skem locals:-

60 Concourse-Town Hall (Old Skem)
61 Concourse-Digmoor via Tanhouse
62 Concourse-Tanhouse via Digmoor
63 Ashurst-Concourse-Tanhouse-Digmoor-Railway Station (Upholland)
64 Concourse-Ashurst/Birch Green
65 Concourse-Hall Green

Through routes:-
375 Southport-Ormskirk-Skem-(Tanhouse)-Wigan (1pr hour Wigan-Ormskirk)
385 Southport-Ormskirk-Skem-(Digmoor)-Wigan (1pr hour Wigan-Ormskirk)
(Skem/Wigan/Southport depots) - both services deviated in Old Skem
Liverpool services
305-Skelmersdale-Digmoor-Aintree-Liverpool(Aintree/Skem depots)
345-Skelmersdale-Tanhouse-Aintree-Liverpool(Aintree/Skem depots, these routes deviated in Aintree)

There is more but memory has faded!!
The Skem local routes were savaged back when Lancs CC cut the funding for what was called 'Skelmersdale Centrelink' and went something like this:-

41 Old Skem-Concourse-Clay Brow
42 Concourse-Ashurst/Birch Green
43 Ashurst-Concourse-Tanhouse-Digmoor-Railway Station
44 Concourse-Tanhouse
The 375/385 all went via Digmoor
The 305 changed to 365 (via Kirkby) and 365/345 both went via Digmoor AND Tanhouse

Pretty sure I've missed some and I have missed Ormskirk services like the 311/350 which I am sure were operated by Bootle using MPTE ultimate machines not setrights
