RE: 2019 DartSLF.com awards
1 - Who was the best company of the year?
There was a couple of Operators which have had a good year imo, Best i would say is D&G who continue to slowly grow their Network including opening a new Depot.

2 - Who was the worst company of the year?
HTL, Think i pick this operator every year, A lot of Buses driving around will bumps and scratches on them, Buses out regular with broken Destinations and sometimes using * Buses * in service that are only suitable for Merseylink.

3 - Which North West depot do you think made the most progress in 2019?
Going with WOB, The Management there clearly know what they are doing, Just hope they reduce their ticket prices so they are value for money.

4 - What bus(es) were the best delivery to a company of the year?
There have not been many Buses coming into the North West this year so i will say Stagecoach Manchesters need Enviro400 MMCs

5 - What withdrawn bus(es) were the hardest goodbye from a company of the year?
Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancs Alexander Dennis Darts, I remember when these went into service so a shame to see them go

6 - Which bus(es) looked the smartest during the year?
Peoplesbus have kept on top of their fleet in terms of presentation

7 - What was the rarest sighting of the year?
When i got Stagecoach Gillmoss Dennis Trident 18156 on the 10A!

8 - What was the biggest surprise in the industry of the year?
When Arriva was looking at withdrawing the X1 Runcorn - Liverpool. Its a well used service and would have left people with double travel time.

9 - What was the biggest disappointment in the industry of the year?
It was a shame the Stagecoach X5 Liverpool - Widnes did not work out, It did give Widnes Residents an express service into Liverpool

10 - What bus was the best during the year?
Going to say Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancs Dennis Trident 18156, Still in fantastic condition!

11 - What bus was the worst during the year?
Cant think which one is was but a PO62 Enviro200 at Rock Ferry was a shed, Rattles more than the OAPs!

12 - What bus(es) are you most looking forward to in 2020?
The Hydrogen Buses for the 10A St Helens - Liverpool, Look forward to seeing what they are like

13 - What bus(es) would you like to see in the North West in 2020?
More Hybrid/Gas Buses, Not very interesting i know but the industry needs to do its bit for Climate Change.
