There's was one on the St Mary's 658 again this morning...them buses are not gonna last long on that service from the horror stories I hear from my sisters... Windows getting kicked in, seats getting set on fire etc also apparently some of the kids are abusive to the drivers as well. They told me before summer it got that bad the old operators driver drove the bus back to St Mary's school to get one of the teachers to sort them out and at one point they had to put security on the bus to stop it from happening. Hopefully Arriva will cope with it, I think every operator on Wirral has ran that service apart from Avon Follow me on flickr |

Some of the Bolton hybrids have been branded for cross-river,the same as the original Laird Street batch. The ones noted so far are 4494,4496 and 4502.3133 is stiil at Laird street on 410/1 today Has 3127 gone to Bolton?Referring back to the branding of the hybrids ,pity they couldn't put some fleet number on as well. |

Seen 4173 broken down about 25 minutes ago by Fourth Avenue in Beechwood, presumably on the 418/419...everyone was off the bus though so don't know whether the driver had told everyone to get off Follow me on flickr |

Thank you for this piece of historic information. I reckoned it was under privatisation that MTL ventured into Chester, but obviously it happened upon dereg like you said. |

So Merseybus , MTL , Arriva don't quite make it to 30 years of running on the Chester corridor. To be honest the Chester corridor was never really a route that made much sense other than to be a spoiler a couple of years later when PMT came on the scene and tried to develop all manner of services. |
