Quote:Hi, With credit to T42 PVM, the changes are summarised in Post 42: http://dartslf.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=1161&page=5 As the consultation has closed, I'm unsure if the Merseytravel links still work. As for a service to Warrington, the 339 was a very useful service once established. Run by Fairway until that company ceased trading, the route ran as follows: Warrington - Winwick Road - Gemini Retail Park - Burtonwood - St Helens Junction - St Helens Hospital - St Helens Town Centre - Dentons Green - Hard Lane Shops. using 2 vehicles, the service ran hourly and from observations, appeared to be well used - apart the early days, I don't recall seeing it empty. |

The 339 was well used at the end but as mentioned probably majority bus passes. Something along those lines though would give St Helens a link to the Gemini Retail Park again as well as partly replacing the 33A service to Burtonwood. |

It's got to be a very challenging starting any business but the bus industry can be very volatile, with many independants simply disapearing so hopefully you can make it work With future plans we would need to increase our licenses yes. |

Just thought I'd drop a note to wish the best with the company. You have my full support and I'll definitely be a willing customer when I'm in the UK. |
