Avon Buses
RE: Avon Buses
That is really nice; crisp & modern. The current livery is nice, but very basic and it is beginning to look tired on some buses. This will certainly give Avon more presence on the roads.

93 Liverpool - Arrowe Park

Avons 93 timetable looks impressive, if successful I think they should look into commercialising Sunday daytime routes 492 and 495 and extending them to Liverpool. I think that would be a good money spinner

Both new 12 plate enviros, in the new colours were out today, 312 on the 12/93, and 412 on the 83, 3 more of these are due very soon. Ex helms 152 is next to be repainted, whilst S509NFR is withdrawn. The revised 93 has good potential, it partially follows the old impera 98 route, which was one of there successes.

I think Merseytravel will be looking at the 293 journeys a bit closer now , there living on borrowed time between Birkenhead and Arrowe Park Hospital.

In this time of austerity though we shouldn't as a council pay be paying for something that a commercial operator is doing perfectly well. Good debating point .

The 293 evening journeys are something that definitely need looking at with 93's running back from Liverpool to the depot just a few minutes before/after the 293.
