By my reckoning, the requirements are 4 for the WIG, 3 for the VIC, 3 for the MIA & 2 (or is it 3) for the WARR, so with 20 units you would think some failures wouldn't affect them

Are Arriva Trains Northern going to be imported with a 319 fleet that is highly problematic to say the least , the diesel fleet didnt seem to give Abellio this much trouble .

Not forgetting 3 for LSP - Preston. Not sure how many are required for Manchester Pic - Manchester Airport shuttles though.

Yes it was cancelled. I had to get the 1550 MAN-LLD to NLW and pick up the 1603 ex MCV to BGE.

On a weekday there are 16 x 319 diagrams in service, there are currently at least 2 x 319 out of service.

According to RAIL Arriva will be taking on 12 additional 319s this year, even though Blackpool and Bolton wires won't be ready, so presumably that'll give them the flexibility to give all 32 x 319s a proper overhaul both mechanically and internally.

319361's and 319380's failures can't have been serious. Drove them both on the 17/3 and all was well.

It will be interesting to see which units they are. Logically it should include the six remaining 319/3's. Logic doesn't always apply though!

At least 319370/72/73 visited Wolverton Works last year and were repainted into Thameslink livery.

RE: Northern Rail
Any that do come will need the door control modifications before they enter service too.
