RE: Rotala - Prestonbus
Preston Bus now have StreetLite (9.5m?) BRZ 9662, which is expected to be on the road during the next week. Their livery really suits the StreetLite body; here are a few photos of them:

The StreetLite was a "sneak preview", so expect more surprises on the road during the next week... Big Grin

Along with BRZ 9662, DRZ 4018 is another StreetLite that's now with Preston Bus! Here are some photos of it:

I have been on the PrestonBus website and read about the £3.20 day ticket. Do they take exact fare only or can they give change now?

It would seem that they still don't give change.

From Preston Bus website:

"Please note: we operate an exact fare system - NO CHANGE GIVEN (however, credit notes can be obtained, and exchanged for cash at our information office on Preston Bus Station)."

Does anyone happen to know what the length of the PN08 Solo SRs is? I cannot seem to find out, I did have them down as 9.5M.

RE: Rotala - Prestonbus
They are M950SRs, so yes 9.5m

BLOTW seems to suggest they were the first Solo SRs delivered, bar a demo for Optare.

RE: Rotala - Prestonbus
Went today, saw more deckers than usual interestingly H103BFR was still in use and appears to have had the front radiator panel rebuilt slightly, not sure why?

Also saw two Leyland bodied Olympians including the ex Leyland Demo example and another in Guild livery. Despite this also saw an ex Stagecoach ALX bodied Trident and an ex Lothian President bodied Trident, so it appears that any intent to get rid of the older examples hasn't yet filtered through, perhaps though the 4 x Volvo B5LH/Wright Eclipse Gemini II's Hybrids due shortly might see some of these out.

Also saw the former Wright Streetlite demonstrator working as a private with its Northern Irish plate.
