Truly the end of an era, its brilliant that Stagecoach have done this recognising the workhorse of their early success. It'll be sad to see them go but at least the Tridents are still around Smile what's replacing the B10M's on that school contract? I thought nothing else could pass through that bridge.

New 34/X34 Timetable is online, Shows a 20 Min Service and earlier Start and finish times, Also good to see Ashton in Makerfield has a fair few trips, Hopefully these do well and more trips are added, Here is a link to the new Timetable but just read carefully as the current Timetable is mixed in with the new one

RE: Stagecoach Manchester and Wigan
Just seen a photo on Facebook that seems to show that a Stagecoach Bus has hit a low bridge in Prestwich while on Metrolink Replacements, Photo aint the best as it looks like a phone shot but it seems the damage aint to bad, In the Drivers defence it seems the Bridge Height aint shown anywhere

EDIT: Bus is Hyde Road based 18290.

Seems to be one of the ex Maynes Presidents recently repainted out of Magicbus livery, guessing looking at the damage it will be repaired and back in service in no time

Article from the MEN, doesn't really show a clear picture of the vehicle involved:

Does anybody know where HE are going to get the extra vehicles from to operate the extra X50s from timetable change as surely if the service is going to be every 9 minutes extra vehicles will be needed unless this is why so many older Tridents are being repainted out of Magicbus livery so that they can go on 168/169s and the remaining Enviro400s on 168/169s can go on X50s
