Surely if he was a new driver he should have familiarised himself with the routes he would be working, there arn't that many at AZ, and Tameside college is virtually next to the depot, how could he have missed. I do understand it is difficult when a driver is new and I would be the same for a while if it was me. Training only goes so far. I would think drivers probably really start to learn to drive buses when they are actually on their own working the routes for real. You do get the occasional one though, where some are born thick, some learn to be thick and others have thickness thrust upon them |

Haven't seen 22134 or 22137 though-they were both in Stockport a few months ago. |

RE: Stagecoach Manchester
Equally 22105 and 22120 have yet to make an appearance in recent months. Assuming they are all serviceable they will probably all be out soon. I've heard other divisions are not sending Single Deckers to London until the Paralympics, presumably meaning some Double Deckers will come home and they'd go to replace them, so if that happens in Manchester the rest of the MAN's may be held back as possible replacements for some of the ailing Double Deckers that may not last the 3 months. |

It's always nice to know a little about the history of our buses when they come to us. I've just checked the registration letters on line, and 'RM' was indeed a Carlisle registration before 2001. |

I've also seen 22143 and 22160 in Stockport, and surprisingly 22819. This has been housed at Sharston but hardly ever gets used. I think it was a one off from somewhere a while back. [/quote] The 313 is usually populated by MAN's just younger ones 'X' reg,04 reg and 06 reg. |
