2432 on 413 today, only one out I'm informed. Also told that 2439/49 are parked at the bottom of yard and the days of Cadets at LS are very much numbered.. |

I think you mean 2424 which was on 410/1 as hybrid 4523.2432 was on 413/4 again.3005 was on 407/472. |

Are any of the cadets up for preservation or being sold to other operators I wonder? They are getting a lot out of 2432 before it goes, probably the longest routes the last few days 413/4 418/9 and 2. |

It may happen as we have approached the age of DDA compliant buses being a legal requirement for public service use, buses that are DDA compliant and do not require any form of coversion are getting harder to source, However it's highly unlikely given that the X registration Crusaders have all but 2 been scrapped (and the 2 that survive aren't in a usable condition) As well as buses from other operations such as Midlands and Yorkshire that are the same age and size, also going to scrap. The problem isn't the buses themselves, it's the fact you can now get a 2004 reg ex-london dart for under £5,000 through a dealership, and although it would cost a fair price to convert it to single door, the parts are much cheaper and easier to source, giving a better value once it's running services. |
