Wasnt that the plan for a while now that the service was going to be chopped back to Preston , until electrification.

Oh my these class 319's are slowly dropping in awkward place this time on the 0840 Manchester Airport - Liverpool L St at Gatley.

Is there something that FCC and Govia Thameslink aren't telling us about the units .

Unlike the 350/4 with TPX which where actually new units and you can expect some teething problems , the Class 319 are units that have been on the road for a while now with various operations in the South East , be it using Third Rail or Overhead Wire .

I am thinking now that the Class 319's are better suited to Third Rail Running.

Does the Northern half of the Thameslink route which uses the OHLE have a much different electrical system to the equipment in use in the North west .

Isnt their traincrew depot at Liverpool Lime street , the depot where the trains get serviced is Allerton.

Is Allerton a traincrew depot though , I am not sure.

No mainline traincrew are based at Allerton, just Lime St. Allerton does have some Depot Drivers though.

Theres currently a Signal Fault on the Liverpool Lime Street - Wigan North Western Line meaning loads of Trains are getting Cancelled
