Merseyrail
RE: Merseyrail
This was also with the northern line services reduced to every 20 minutes .

This seriously means that big events in Liverpool are going to cause problems for Merseyrail , due to the amount of units required to move all passengers.

Seriously though couldn't the refurbishment of the Wirral line platforms at Moorfields have started later once the event became common knowledge .

More six cars today in connection with the Mersey River Festival. A full complement of pairs on the Southport line and the three Chester workings which stay on into the evening (15 and 45 departures from Liverpool Central) were also sixes. Sensible allocating this time around with the more heavily loaded Chester workings strengthened.

Further units to have received the interior refresh in the last couple of weeks include 507004, 507021 and 508139. The full list of treated units is as follows: 507004/008/009/018/020/021/024/029/033, 508103/104/139.

RE: Merseyrail
There appeared to be a unit stripped back to its white primer inside Birkenhead North depot this afternoon. As it had yellow painted window seals, I'm assuming this is one of the 2014 liveried examples rather than 507002. I'm not sure if this is due to a severe graffiti attack (in which case, the graffiti protection is not good) or for some other reason such as another advertising livery.

508127 is the latest unit with a refreshed interior.

Thanks for this just saw the report on the echo website. Presuming some of its underframe electrical equipment must have overheated?

RE: Merseyrail
At least two Northern Line diagrams where short formed .

0813 SP - HX and 0921 HX - SP

and

0548 KBY - LVC
0610 LVC - ORM
0650 ORM - LVC
0725 LVC - ORM

Probably not helped by the unit failure at Walton
