RE: First Transpennine Express
Does this mean at the point they become leased by Chiltern or when they start operating Chiltern services ? |

RE: First Transpennine Express
Im thinking that when the line eventually does get electrified between Oxenholme and Windermere wouldn't this be the best time to stick a possible passing loop in on the line . I say eventually because it looks like all electrification projects seem to be slowing losing time now. This line can at times suffer from the fact that only one train can be on the line at any one time and this does preclude any service frequency increase in this increasingly popular tourist area. |

The Paisley Canal used some innovations in its electrification , and as such because it was a small electrification could be done quickly , I would expect Oxenholme to Windermere once started to be completed quite quickly. |

Attempted Suicides in the Preston/Wigan area and 350401 failing meant to a crazy day for TPE on the Wigan line on Saturday 350401 was assisted by my 405 into Piccadilly where it was terminated short it failed somewhere close to the Eccles line Junction and meant we arrived 1 hour 20 late into Oxford Road Bring Back Arriva Skelmersdale |

RE: First Transpennine Express
Think terminating at Manchester Piccadilly would allow your unit to get across the station throat and into the Ardwick Depot and leave the demic unit . The unit would then come out of the depot for a right time departure north from Manchester Piccadilly. |
