No service at all between Birkenhead and Liverpool passengers are advised to make their own travel arrangments to get to Liverpool from Birkenhead this was annouced over the tannoy when i was waiting for my train at Maghull before. |

Here is a link to a news story about an 18 coach train on the merseyrail's chester line today. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/live...er-8468958 It probably amounted to one of the worst days Merseyrail has had since the great cold winter of 2009/10 |

RE: Merseyrail
im not sure that all the units could have been taking power at the same time as it would have take too much power out of the third rail and blown fuses in the substations , highly likely that at least 3 maybe four could have been taking power . |

RE: Merseyrail
Well what it says about rail replacement buses being refused is a lie. Laird Street had some Volvo hybrids out doing Rail Replacements this morning and there was a green sign outside Chester station telling people to wait for the Merseyrail rail replacement bus. |
