Another ex Bluebus vehicle joins the fleet I see, have St Helens still got the ex Bluebus Volvo B10BLEs and if not why have they been withdrawn over the other Volvo B10BLEs in the fleet

As far as im aware of 2732 as been withdrawn but 2733 is still in service.

Considering the oldest Pulsars at St Helens are what - 6years old? I dread to even consider what they might be like in another 6years. Just travelled between St Helens & Carr Mill on 2690, horrible. lt felt & heard like the bus wanted to tear itself asunder, glad it was only a short journey.

I'm sure they'll be similar to how they are now in another 6 years time given they're designed to last longer than that. A number of the 58 plate examples at St Helens still offer a pleasant ride and for those that don't, it's nothing that tightening up of panels etc. wouldn't sort. Indeed, 2692 went from being less than pleasant to perfectly adequate after having work done to it. At any rate, it's certainly not a sign that they're suddenly not going to last their intended service life!

2426,2704 and 2261 are out on the 10/10A today. I think 2494 may also be on there but cannot confirm it.
