How are they getting away with not running a 0530 service on a Saturday morning , when that service runs Monday to Friday Morning with probably less passengers around.

It is a rather big gap between 04.30 and the first tunnel bus route from Arriva and Stagecoach.

What time are the first trains back to the Wirral and how much demand is there for a 5.30 bus?

The thing was the 150 which was the precursor to this service actually had a 05.00 service .

The original reason for the night tunnel bus service was that it was introduced between Birkenhead and Liverpool when Mersey Ferries ceased to operate night ferry services as you can not walk through the Mersey Tunnel legally.

Because they are a private company whose sole aim is to make money.
Why run a bus when you know it is only going to carry fresh air.

Still don't believe after all these years, you guys don't get the whole environment bus companies operate in.
They are not a charity. They're like a shop. If no one buys a product it gets discontinued.
A bus service, or individual journey simply gets withdrawn.

But you can get a taxi at any time.

Cant see how Ace Travel can honestly make any money on the Monday - Friday morning service , probably a good reason why it was a merseytravel contract , if ace was to pull it , it would have to go back to a Merseytravel contract , to be honest only the Saturday and sunday service is commercially viable work.
