Stagecoach Manchester and Wigan
RE: Stagecoach Manchester
Apparently Wigan Depot are getting more deckers shortly and the first of which is 17670 apparently this is the first of about 30 deckers for them to replace the MANs in the fleet

Which is the best route to get the MAN's? When they are running on the 540 they always seem to terminate in Westhoughton, only B7RLE's go through between Bolton & Wigan.

I think the only Dart still being worked on at Stockport is 33868 (OO06 BLU) that has been there about a year!

Thanks for the responses everyone - most helpful. I am surprised that it has taken Stagecoach so long to dispose of some of the Bluebird (and JPT buses), given that many were non-standard, a bit long in the tooth, and would need repainting.

33856 was in use at Middleton until recently, but I have not seen it out and about for a couple of weeks, and there was a report that it had swapped with 39642 some little time ago.

I do agree with you on that, probably should had taken an earlier shot.
Hopefully next year they will have far more usage on the 219s

Yes Wifi is being rolled out across the fleet, although I've been told the oldest Tridents and MANs won't have it fitted as and I quote 'they've not got long left.

Have to say though the last 3 Enviro400's I've been on have had Wifi recently fitted yet it didn't seem to work on any of them and I was stuck using my 3G.

The allocations do seem mixed up at weekend, although to be fair I'm in Ashton most lunchtimes during the week and yes it's quite common to see standard Enviro400's on the 219 but in all honesty the hybrids seem to stick to the 219 so it does seem to be a eveving/weekend thing.

Out of interest who operates the night bus 216,219 and 237 on a Friday and Saturday night? As I remember someone telling me Hybrids were quite common on them workings a while ago. I know princess road always used to do night work a few years back so presumably it's Sharston?

Probably when events are expected on weekends they would throw anything on to the 216/219s

Hyde road operate the 216/237 night service present.
I rode on 19530 on the 02:30 237 back up to Glossop back in August
