Interesting sighting in Bolton this evening

branded 37451 in Bolton, very wierd seeing a 409 branded bus in town

Also 37550, was following it, both out of service

Also just past Bolton Depot, and saw pioneer dart 40406 parked in the car park with private on the display. Was wondering why it was there, then again, it could just have been a flying visit.

37451 is a 58/59 branded bus

I really doubt that would ever happen - they ditched the commercial 406 back in 2006 when it used to run across Oldham down to Limeside.

You more than likely did see it on the 350, ive lost count of how many times i see darts from ashton or oldham paying a flying visit to Bolton Depot, always being driven by mechanics and always still having the local destination of the last route they did, bizarre but true. It wont be there now, ive no doubt it will be back at pioneer
