Among them were 20947 in Fort William, 20925 and 20957 in Inverness and 20920/22/26 and 20946 in Portree. Rode 20946 on the Portree local 54 - definitely a rattler but still with a useful turn of acceleration and speed.

Cracking buses and sadly missed in Manchester. Dare I say it them, the older MANs and the first batch of Tridents were, and still are proper buses built to last and Stagecoach have certainly had their monies worth out of them. I think the only think that went against the B10Ms was thier high floors - otherwise they would still be here in force.
When you consider the first batch of Enviro400's and the condition they were in when they began to be cascaded, with very noisy lower deck and cheap plastic interiors there's just no comparison.

Certainly that is all I have seen out and about over the last few days.

Yes I got told last week that all the Primo's would be painted. I did have it written down but carnt find it now, however I'm told one of the Primo's at Hyde Road was prepped for painting on Thursday/Friday last week.
I was told they will probably try out several livery variations on them to find what looks best - in a similar way to when the Bluebird fleet was first painted.

Indeed I don't know whether I posted it here but as I was passing HE on a train one evening last week the paint shop doors were wide open and I saw a Primo in there in rubbed down livery

Thank you for your informed update. I am surprised that Stagecoach appear not to have retained ex-JPT Enviro200s. Then again, it has been indicated that some JPT stock was in poor condition, and these vehicles may be a case in point.

There were no Enviro200's included in the takeover only the 2 remaining Enviro300's remained, I think the vehicles yoi are referring to were sold by JPT a while ago when they lost a number of tenders.

You are correct - all the Enviro 200s were sold a couple of years ago, as were the other modern buses in the fleet. The Enviro 300s and the Primos were the only modern buses in the fleet at the time of takeover.

So that is all the buses that ran at some time for Stagecoach under the " interim" arrangements prior to CMA clearance. Does that mean that everything else is parked up at Wigan awaiting it's fate ?. I have also seen a picture of one of the ex-Bluebird darts there as well ( the red one).
