Avon Buses
RE: Avon Buses
Its not greed, its simply business, why shouldn't a company see money making opportunities and act. However, that said I would like to see Avon take them on a bit but in all honesty Stagecoach would probably blow them if away if they really tried. Hopefully people's jobs won't be affected and AVON find other money making routes if necessary.

Cant see anything remotely close to profitable on the Wirral that is not already in the hands of either Arriva or Stagecoach , perhaps they have to look to Liverpool now for inspiration now .

To be fair he the driver probably has a point to an extent, its probably more the fact that whoever the driver was, he is obviously loyal to a locally independently owned company rather than having to work for one of the larger groups.

RE: Avon Buses
With Arriva out of the way in the night buses, maybe Avon will follow in ACEs footsteps and maybe take on a night bus from Liverpool to the Wirral if they see ACE are doing well...

It wouldn't suprise me if Ace brought back their 30/31 new Brighton night buses

In a further Liverpool expansion, Avon are to take over the 144/145 from 11th August, with the buses running over, and returning, in service.

No matter what there shouldn't be an incident like that in a public place , it doesn't look good on Avon's part . Views like that should be kept to themselves we all have an opinion on the Stagecoach v Avon battle that is taking place at this time .

are avon gonna do there own fare or use merseytravel as 2.00 is a bit steep for some people as they will lose money very quickly that way
