All the better! I am incidentally pleased that Arriva have now introduced a Wales-only Daysaver for £5, which is valid on buses in Wales and Chester - Wales routes (but not Chester local routes). This means it is no longer necessary to get a North West & Wales Daysaver for those routes.

It could be handy to change between routes 13 and 51 at Ruddlan. I hope they have common stops in the area!

Yeah the 13 and 51 use the same stops in Rhuddlan through to Glan Clwyd.

Not sure who's making up the number plates for the new deckers but they don't look to be legally spaced. The space between CX & 14 and the centre space are both far too generous and don't appear to meet the regs

Cheers Smile

Lots of buses seem to have noticeable spaces between the area code and year now. Green lanes new 14 plate pulsars are a good example along with Runcorns 13 plate MAN ecocitys.

I highly doubt arriva would do something that is a breach of the regulations, maybe there is a loophole?

Hope you don't mind the feedback, better it's pointed out now and 6 sets of plates have to be changed than 20 sets!

Cheers Smile
There done at St Helens, the Bangor pulsars are the same if memory serves me correct.

That figures, I was going to suggest that they're all being made up in the same place, probably by the same person. Your pic https://flic.kr/p/nz4LZ7 shows how badly the new plates have been made up on the Enviro400's compared to the correctly spaced plates on the Gemini.
The Bangor Pulsars are the same, you're right, it's all a bit amateurish Sad

The Wales day saver is valid on Chester local Service's that head into wales such as the 3,4,10,12,X44 and X55 because i buy the £17 Wales weekly now and have used it on those Service's :-')

The Wales day/weekly tickets actually follows the same boundary's as the Welsh bus pass
Hope that helps Smile

Had a little drive out today to try and catch some of Rhyl's vehicles in the twilight of their careers there.....plus some new Enviro400's in the depot.

2351 in Trefnant working a 51

One of my two main targets of the day, 4041 also in Trefnant, taken just as 2351 had passed.

My other target for the day, and completing the Rhyl DLA's for me, 4142 in Rhyl depot

and a few Enviro400's in Rhyl depot, did see 4541 on a test run and was all ready for a shot....but the camera wouldn't focus in time and it shot past! However we have 4537 & 4540 CX14BYA (4540 was getting it's branding applied) & unbranded 4544 parked up.

I did manage to get 3992 & 3987 on the 1, I'll post those a little later once they're on Flickr.

You should have said hello, I was out in the yard. I took 4541 to Alpines depot, we're storing a few there due to space issues.

Ah, that must have been your driving it then, I hurriedly parked up a little further up from the Morrison's as I saw 4541 waiting to do a right into marsh Road, I'd come from the St Asaph direction, so was all set for a pic.....camera decided not to play!. Anyway, last couple from today.

3992 at Rhyl and Talacre

I'll be up again when the Enviro400's are in service.
