Things expand when they get hot. Expansion joints absorb this expansion so that the tarmac/concrete surface does not crack over time with the changing seasons.

However, over time the joints wear out and need replacing, and this is what is due to happen at Wigan soon.

Does anyone know the fate of the Enviro400 Hybrid which was damaged last year? IIRC, it was MX60BVB. Fixed, awaiting repair or for the chop? Thanks in advance.
