RE: First Manchester
81/81A and 88 could be set to return to stand B at Piccadilly Gardens from this Sunday after over a year away, while the work to convert the former Nobles building into a Travelodge and M Local took place. At the moment, First have it listed as a 'advisory notice' on their website but say that those services will return to stand B while the X35 will return back across Stevenson Square from TE to EB (where the 81/81A and 88 are now). One slight error is that they included the 118 in their list (presumably copied from TfGM), which is of course a JPT service. http://www.firstgroup.com/ukbus/greater_...841&conf=1 |

Only it carrys nowt but fresh air after 7pm so they could probably get away with using one of their black vans and no one would notice |

Speaking of Darts out on lates, I spotted one of the ADL Darts out on late 220s last night, not to sure which one it was as I was on a National Express coach at the time coming back from Liverpool |

Finglands day and weekly tickets will continue from tomorrow at the same prices but under a new name. The tickets will be branded as the South Manchester FirstDay and South Manchester FirstWeek tickets. The South Manchester FirstDay ticket will remain at £3.40 and valid on services south of Manchester including service 18 between Shudehill and MRI. The South Manchester FirstWeek ticket will have two zones with Zone A at £7.50 and Zone B at £10.50. Zone B has the same validity as the South Manchester FirstDay ticket, while Zone A will only be valid on the 41 to West Didsbury http://www.firstgroup.com/ukbus/greater_...iagram.pdf http://www.firstgroup.com/ukbus/greater_.../firstday/ http://www.firstgroup.com/ukbus/greater_...firstweek/ |

My gut feeling is that they'll keep it going until it gives up or until December 1st. I'm guessing though that it will give up before that point though... RE: First Manchester
Looks like Oldham Depot might be short of buses for 415 again at the moment as I haven't seen any of the Marshall Darts on the route for the past week or so and I think the workings that would normally have been operated by the Marshall Darts have been operated by Optare Solos as these have started creeping back onto the route again |
