Unfortunately, bus operator's are very very poor at advertising their services. e.g. When, was the last time you saw your local bus route or company advertised on TV or in the newspaper ?, I have lived in my current house, for the last 10-years, in that time not once have I seen my local route or company advertised on TV or in the newspaper. In the last hour both Virgin Trains and Trans-Pennine Express have been advertised on TV.

Route branding a vehicle, is at the best, an half-hearted attempt at advertising by the bus company. The biggest problem with route branding, is that the vehicles regularly operate other routes, other then the one's which their are branded for, which only confuses the intending passengers, all the more. All bus companies, which have route branded vehicles, are guilty of this.

wow 1986!, that was 28-years ago!, and as this is the Stagecoach Merseyside thread, Stagecoach Merseyside didn't exist 28-years ago, and a lot of operators have been and gone in the last 28-years!

As a passenger, these B10BLE's are better than the darts on 17/19's I think. Shame they won't be around for much longer...

It was still on there this afternoon, I seen it on Lord Street so probably lasted until 6ish.

They're nice, solid buses and I find them better than Arriva's B10BLEs to ride also. Significantly better than Darts, make no mistake.

There is an obsession with the age of busses in Merseyside. Capacity is a bigger issue. I am sure if you did a survey, passengers would rank capacity and comfort over age. I hope that stagecoach management read this and put passengers first. I predict however that they won't and will replace the darts and B10's with wretched enviro 200/300's with the voith gearbox.

I also agree that the ex CMT ones are better than Arriva's ex Blue bus examples at Speke.

Pulsars, Darts, Enviros, you can keep them. A B10BLE is preferable any day.
I don't mind Enviros, nor Pulsars but Pulsars have a tendency to rattle and vibrate. And those Darts are dreadful especially those Arriva machines & in my opinion they need to be condemned. Long live the mighty B10BLE
