RE: Stagecoach North East
Yes - entry of the E300SGs will be the start of ALX300 withdrawals. We don't know how long they've got left, beyond the fact that as they're not DDA compliant, 2016 is the absolute deadline for them. |

17032 was on the 35 today, running the hour services in Wolviston and therefore missing the heavy school duties. |

Indeed, while 17025 was on the 52 until 3pm and 17029 will currently be sat waiting to be refuelled and parked up after spending the day on the 36 finishing in Middlesbrough at 8pm on the last short working on the 37 from Park End. Not yet noted is the restoration of the stops on Stockton High Street outside Marks & Spencer's with the island taken out of use. A downside of this is the lose of a turning loop here meaning the 35 is once again running light down the High Street to turn round to resume service. An very odd working today was that of Trident 17032 on the 12/14 working that starts on the 794 at 0537 in Grangetown and it also lasted the day. 17028 also remained out all day, working the 13. Olympian 16836 was on the 58 this morning (the working that works onto the 52 on a night) however it presumably was replaced for school time. Not yet reported here is the fitment of WiFi to a number of Enviro400s in Newcastle for use on the 62/63 and the X63. A slightly surprising day on Teesside - 2 MANs were involved in small incidents in Middlesbrough (22493 was rear-ended by a car this morning, while 22197 ended up knocking its offside rear tyre off its rim when swerving to avoid a taxi trying to sneak around the roundabout at the entrance to the bus station and bashed into said roundabout about 1310 this afternoon, finally towed back to the depot about 1600, passed me as I walked back from work). While the 13 ended up with 4 Enviro300s appearing on there - 24113 was allocated from the start of the day while 24112/4/5 all appeared on there this afternoon. 16833 was working a 38 to Norton Glebe this afternoon.
