How true is this, if so what'll stagecoach do with their remaining step entrance deckers???

I thought it was 2017 that all buses used on public services had to be DDA complient.

Won't be a big problem for Stagecoach as there's only a handful of step entrance buses in the Manchester fleet anyway.

It is twice as worse as First's 37386

I was in Stockport bus station at about quarter past four when I heard this horrendous noise-next moment a 330 went past. The culprit 19101-agree it should be in the maintenance area, not in service.

I can't see how they can pass an MOT in that state. I think 19101 may be past maintenance by the sound of it. It sounds like it's falling to bits. The Magic tridents on Oxford Road sound in better shape. Maybe the knacker's yard would be the better (and cheaper) option LOL

19101 torturing 231 users again today - passed me on Lees Road this time had to put my fingers in my ears. Then a First Volvo Olympian passed and sounded so quiet in comparision!

Surprised to see the 08-reg Enviro400s starting to go a bit bad - why can't manchester have scanias like a lot of other fleets

Manchester did receive 13 of the first 25 Scania N230UD/ADL Enviro400s however I believe they were classed as non-standard within the fleet and transferred out mainly to Northampton and Gloucester.

RE: Stagecoach Manchester
They were classed as non-standard, and didn't bring the promised fuel savings that Scania claimed. After some had been transferred to more interurban style work, it was clear that the Scanias were more suited to that and so the rest of the batch were cascaded on.

19247 was the bus that took me to the fireworks display at Woodford on Nov 5th.It sounded all right then although it had to go gingerly down the main road to ultimately reach the final destination due to the volume of parked cars on either side.
