Stagecoach are offering half-price weekly Megarider tickets online, which will be available between 27 November and 13 December. The tickets will be placed on smartcards, which can be reused afterwards for future online Megarider purchases.

Seemingly for 256 Flixton and 50 Salford services - but what are the chances of them leaking onto the 168/9 like the 219 hybrids LOL

The 09 reg's previously branded '50 City Connect' have all been unbranded now and spread around the HE routes. It'll be nice to see a touch of green in the Salford area. Unfortunately however, it looks like the 201/203 are still lumbered with the 08/58/09 old bangers. Sleepy
Will the arrival of these hybrids herald the departure of the Un-Magic-ed Tridents?

RE: Stagecoach Manchester
Is there any speculation about what route the new E400H's will be used on?

Yes I've noticed that with the older Enviro400's. They sound awful when they get like that, but they never seem to get fixed for some reason, just allowed to carry on like that. A good few of the 56/07 reg's are really loud these days.

Waiting at the top of St Albans Avenue 19101 (I think) - heard it when it was at Broadoak roundabout, like a faint plane taking off and then climbing that hill up onto Lees Road.... And when it finally passed me I nearly went deaf! B9s always sound good though, especially when loud.

It is 19101 Joe, unfortunately I caught it and suffered earache, it shouldn't be in passenger service with a dB (decibel) level of 100+
It is twice as worse as First's 37386

Unfortanatly I had it today on the 236 and it is just as loud on board as if is off.
I've had this argument before, it just goes to show how little Stagecoach regard passenger comfort. Heating on all summer, freezing cold all winter and deafening cooling fans.
No wonder their slashing the price of mega riders LOL
