B7RLEs out in force along Oldham Road today, as there was 2 out on the 83 and one on the 184, doing the 0713 journey to Huddersfield again. As for the 409 diversion, I would have guessed it would have added another 10 mins, so they'll do well to do it in 7 minutes. The diversion route is probably the quickest route they could have chosen with vehicles such as the Enviro300s though, as the buses would probably be too big to cut through Holden Fold (part of 402 route). Also, shouldn't the 64 and 408 be affected by the diversions too? Given that the 408 runs via the 409 route between the hospital and Dogford Road and the 64 runs to Middleton Road junction. |
