I think its quite normal for more than 1 Hybrid to be on 715s on Saturdays due to the frequency drop on 10s in Manchester.

The same happens with Stagecoach Manchester and their recent batch of Hybrid Enviro 400s for 192s, you'll find on Saturday's that there usually out and about on a mix of Stockport Services including obviously 192s

I agree, from previous visits I've had one or two on the 715, yesterday I sampled 4500 and 4499 on the 715, although I did see 4498 as St Helens Rider observed. It really is a route where pretty much anything from the depot can turn up on it with yesterdays mix including a DAF SB220/ELC Myllennium thrown in the mix for good measure.

As I had an extra hour on my hands today, I went into Manchester to see if the Volvo B5LHs would run on route 10 on Sundays. I did see one, namely 4498. This could enable me to ride one with Sunday-only routes, otentially December 29th, although I usually prefer to do these on Bank Holidays instead, and of course we do not have any "ordinary" Bank Holidays until next Easter.

A Plaxton bodied DAF was out on a school run this morning. Presume its the one that I saw in the yard the other week. Do we know its fleet number yet?

It was 4174 LF52URX http://www.flickr.com/photos/jongraham890/10801688373/
it then worked 534s all day. Bus and coach world Blackburn have done a very good job on this with no rattles and a smooth ride. Its like a new bus.
