RE: Merseyrail
507023 is another unit to be badly attacked. Grafitti over Operations inspector Stuart Mason's name plate... |

RE: Merseyrail
Wirral Line currently messed up due to police incident at Birkenhead Park |

|

RE: Merseyrail
The Wirral Line service was disrupted badly for a while . Chester / Ellesmere Port services couldnt travel beyond R Ferry New Brighton services were not running. West Kirby services couldnt run beyond Bidston. |

RE: Merseyrail
Chester station completely evacuated. Merseyrail service report to be alight on Platform 7. (1945 from Liverpool Central, 2030 from Chester) Someone is in for a rather large bill! Travel is glamorous only in retrospect. |

RE: Merseyrail
Station now reopened with substantial disruption, and, I assume, a unit stuck on Platform 7! Travel is glamorous only in retrospect. |

RE: Merseyrail
A rail replacement bus service , provided by Arriva Birkenhead is now in operation. Platform 7 still not available for use . |

RE: Merseyrail
Service restored at 2140. Seems its not been a good week for services in South Wirral , earlier in the week there was service disruption on the Ellesmere Port line . |

RE: Merseyrail
507003 is the culprit. Not too sure what has happened. 4 fire engines turn up and entire station evacuated, but on twitter, Merseyrail deny that a fire occurred, despite several people asking specifically about a fire. Bit too much for a plastic bag in a resistor fan, so must have been something pretty unusual. Travel is glamorous only in retrospect. |
