RE: Merseyrail
Not been a good day for Merseyrail today im afraid. Signal failure at Bidston, Line Side equipment fault at Hall Rd and failed train. I wonder what unit it was and whether Kirkdale have the facilities to repair it with the Stock Interchange Line being inaccessible for the majority of the time...

RE: Merseyrail
507002 was the failed train at Hunts X, brake problems, don't have any more details. There was a points failure at Hall Road and points had to be clipped. Various track circuit failures, and also line-side fires between Brunswick/St Michaels and Moreton/ Meols. So yeah not a good day at all!

RE: Merseyrail
Had 507001 today coupled with another train (didnt catch a number) it was surprisingly nice. It was then stopped at Birkenhead for a extra 10 mimutes while 2 drunks were rejected from the train.

At 17:05 Fire Alarms were activated at Hamilton Square, Our train passes straight through. We were told at 17:10 It's Okay to go back into Hamilton Square, But when we arrived, there was no-one in the station, A fire-bigade man and Mersyrail man ran down to our platform saying "Not a fake, Up the stairs and out the emergency exit quickly"

RE: Merseyrail
507002's issue yesterday evidently wasn't serious as it was back out on the Southport line today partnered with 507011. Advertising sister 508111 on the same line coupled with 508117. The rare sight of 508139 on the Northern Line continues too - this was on Southports with a graffitied 507032. Both 508120 and 508126 have yet to be cleaned despite a decent number of unit transfers during the week.

One of the Ormskirk trains once again was a 6 car today, two units I consider sheds doing the honours here: 508131 and 508136.

RE: Merseyrail
508143 was included in a recent transfer to Birkenhead. Not too sure if it had the graffiti removed yet though. I wonder why grafitti has suddenly soared on Merseyrail trains recently? I saw an awful racially aggressive one on a train and someone tweeted Meraeyrail about it.

Does anyone know what unit is on overhaul at the moment?

RE: Merseyrail
All Northern Line services formed of 6 cars today - very nice to see.

508139 transferred overnight back to the Wirral Line, so presumably its partner of yesterday, 507032, has followed suit. The graffiti should be removed from this one before long. 508143 was outside Birkenhead North this morning with no spraypaint visible.
