Have some of the 59 plate solos gone over to the Wirral? Saw one of them yesterday on the 817 (I think) whilst driving around. Sorry can't remember which one it was... could have been PKN but not sure Smile

Hybrid Solo YJ12 GXE was out on the 130 tonight - a very welcome sight! I was fortunate enough to ride on it (with a few Netherton locals on-board...) with a very fast driver and it was a very enjoyable ride! It sounded incredible! How they're meant to be "hybrid" whilst doing 35-MPH+ on quiet roads is beyond me, though. To back that up, it didn't sound very good when slowing down (a loud, rattling noise)...

RE: Cumfybus
With regards to rattles I think the only major problem as ive mentioned before is the back destination covers or access flaps , they always seem to rattle partly due to our rough roads but I think overall the ride on the hybrids isn't bad at all , the suspension springs seem strong , only time will tell eh

A photo of MX54 KYH can be found on my latest blog-update (the link is on my signature). The bus is as how you've described, however it's not ex-Supertravel - unless they've got this one and KYJ.

Ah, thanks for that. No, they haven't got KYJ. Got my wires crossed.

It appears that MX54 KYH is an ex-Speedwellbus bus:
