415, Rochdale work and sometimes they go on the 425, however that's rare these days.

Thanks for the information. I rode on 40365 today on the #415. Whats with that road (Chadderton) with the 30+ speed bumps!!!! We also saw 40419(#6 Kirkholt circulars),40371 stabled at Rochdale with #455 displayed. Also on #415 were 40364/372. 40369 was on a #12 at Middleton.

If it helps the road with all those speedbumps on 415 (one my local routes) is actually in Alkrington near Middleton and the whole estate has had them fitted for a while now.

As for 40371 this came in as a 455 in time to do 10:45 455 to Littleborough but must have had a fault as it was driven by the driver onto one of the layover bays in Rochdale Bus Station where one of the engineering staff from Oldham Depot was attending to whatever the fault was, odd but not rare seeing a Dart on 455 as this most of the Rochdale local routes apart from 6 Kirkholt are actually booked Solo turns as is 12 Middleton Circular but that seems to regularly have a Dart on it these days

Thanks...I should imagine we will return to Middleton again soon, Darts the #415, the #12 plus some interesting JPT buses on local routes, fast food shack opposite the bus station what more could you want!

Seems like a great place to bus bash out of.

Ye Middleton is pretty interesting. Some interesting Bluebird/Stagecoach vehicles. First have a few hybrids as well on route 18 and 419. You should hop over to Bury to see the artics and Citaros, also some Citaros and the Enviro's up the road in Oldham.

We did 60257 on the #457 up to Stansfield yesterday. The Citaro's are Ok, but not our favourites...Te bus back was more interesting 60827 on a #589... We have done bury a few times, We used to love the Palatine I deckers and Bolton's P LND Darts which used to do the #510's. They still have a few Volvo and Scania deckers at Bury but they seem to be much rarer than a couple of years ago...

Indeed. Bury has some Gemini's for the 163 and 471, but if your looking for Olympians then they are confined to school services, although I did see a Royale bodied one on the 163 a few weeks ago.

Allegedly there are Streetlites and Enviro300s due for the First Manchester fleet.

Now I imagine they are going between Manchester (Queens Road) and Oldham, though I could indeed be wrong!

If, at all, anyone could shed any light as to when these buses are coming, and where they will be going to I would be extremely grateful! If anyone can get information on this, is it possible you could give an idea on their allocation route-wise?

The only information I currently have is that it is rumoured the Streetlites will be here next month, and then any other information such as what routes said buses will be allocated to (such as Enviro300s for the 425 and 81/81A, this I believe because the 81/81A hasn't had its branding refreshed to include Holts Estate and Lees, not just Waterhead, and also because I heard from a driver (yes, I know they can give a lot of false information often) that the 425 stickers are in the depot waiting to be applied but there are no buses to apply them to yet) is merely my own speculation and other peoples ideas.
