It's the 1857 journey withdrawn on the 29. Note that only 3 journeys will now operate upto Ashwood Drive and not 4 as present.

And no, the 'Sapphire' Pulsars for the 7 aren't due until October.

Thanks for the update Kuyoyo. My hunch is that the OmniCities on route X66 are the green-seated ones off route 93, with the leather-seated ones staying on route 5. Mind you, the proposed moves on 24 March may supercede this. You did prepare me that the V-reg coaches may move from route X66 to route 685 before Easter.

It is handy that the Sapphire-branded Pulsar 2s for route 7 are not coming until October. I can still do Darlington EcoCities on the way to Richmond for the Dales bus to Hawes and Lancaster on the Sunday. I shall then have more flexibility for east Cleveland on the Saturday.

I'm afraid the leathe-seated OmniCitys won't be at Stockton come the end of August, for they are heading northwards to Ashington in June for the X20/20. The 5 will then likely be Pulsar-worked from Stockton depot and OmniCity worked from Whitby depot. As for the X66, Darlington's OmniCity allocation is two of the ex-North West examples (4644/5) and currently 4 native examples (4647/54/6/7) which are being joined by 4 from Whitby next weekend (4652/3/8/9) which may also work the 75/76 (given the Ikuras DAFs are looking like they're on their way to joining the Prestiges in their dying days). The V-reg Coaches from the X66 are mainly now on the X15/X18 (1207-9/14) while the ex-Ashington ones (1210-2) are on the 685 with one of the X66 coaches (1213) and one that was originally supposed to be refurbished for the X66 but instead went to Jesmond when 1214 had its accident (1206).

What a bombshell about the leather-seated OmniCities heading north! Thank you for preparing me. What I suddenly think is advisable is to come in the middle of May. Then I can ride one on the Saturday and still ride a Richmond - Hawes - Lancaster Dales bus on the Sunday. Alternatively I shall allow a few days for a wider north east trip, once the Sapphire-branded Pulsar 2s (and Stagecoach E350Hs) are in service.
