Oh well never mind, but thank you for confirming this anyway. This makes it impossible for Stagecoach to renumber the Sunday 42a to 84, even though the service is identical to the Mon-Sat eve service from Reddish to East Didsbury.

That is something I never understood, having the Reddish-Millgate Lane service as the 42A Sunday daytime and 84 Monday-Saturday evenings.

Salford Unibus 16949 on 80/112
33856 on 80/112
31388 & 28507 on 44

Apparently from what I was told yesterday the 2 ex Mayne East Lancs Scania Omnitowns are now at Middleton Depot

Yep 28506/7 have both gone to Middleton as they were not being used at AZ.
Middleton seems to have become the dumping ground for all Stagecoach's oddities in the fleet. LOL

Yes I was thinking that as well. LOL I think the truth is they are there temporarily until the buses they actually do want to keep are painted, refurbished etc, and all services are running properly. Once this happens I think a lot of them will be on their way to the great bus depot in the sky to meet their makers. LOL

Some may already be on there way!
No sign of the yellow or London Red Darts since last Sunday. All 3 are apparently at Hyde Road but why?? although the 2 yellow ones were very unreliable the red one was actually quite a good performer. Carn't see Stagecoach painting them, although ive read elsewhere that the two white Darts [the two ex Haytons ones i think] may be retained for a while as they have had a lot of money spent on them, but again i carn't see Stagecoach waisting time and money painting them.

Ive also noticed that the Solo's have been given fleet numbers but no fleetnames, could these be some of the first to go??

I think a few of the darts will be leaving. I can see a new batch being brought in from somewhere to replace them to be honest, a bit like what happened with Wigan. Whether any brand new ones will come remains to be seen, though given the numbers Manchester have had recently I think it may be someone else's turn this time, particularly since Wigan 'stole' Cambridge's batch last time!
Which Solo(s) do you mean? As far as I know I think there's only the one 11 reg, unless there are more somewhere that weren't on the fleet list.

I thought Bluebird had 3 or 4 Solo SR's.

Ive just checked my list - i have tried to keep it up to date with movements up till last sunday and i have 4 Solo's listed:
4 MK59BLU
5 ML59BLU
6 MM59BLU
7 YJ11EKX

I spotted one in Oldham on Friday afternoon with no fleetnames, and earlier i had noticed one in Ashton on the 395/6 again with no fleetnames.

YJ11 EKX (47825) has Stagecoach fleetnames both front and sides - I photographed it in Piccaddilly around 5pm last Monday afternoon.

Oh yes, I forgot about the 59 reg's. I think it's probably the personalised plates that threw me, lol.
If they don't want them for the Middleton depot, they may end up in Stockport. I think they've been looking to replace the 51 reg's for a while so this may be their chance. They'd be ideal given their age.

RE: Stagecoach Manchester
Is there anything that can be Done about Stagecoach Manchester running off route on Football Extras and also refusing to stop on deansgate? on Sunday i was aboard a 191** Enviro400 (i wont name incase they would lose there job) and it took a right turn through Hulme to the crys of several idiots we dont want to go through Monkeyville. now i cant see how going through Hulme over Chester road is quicker but i missed my train home by 2 mins because of it i was in the station and everything so this slight detour cost me an hour of my time not best pleased with the Stagecoach driver for this stunt or the racists aboard said bus the first and only time ive not thanked a bus driver in my life. Also said driver wouldnt stop at Deansgate is there a reason for this as Extras have always stopped at Deansgate Corner of Oxford road and Picc Gardens from memory.

Also the Driver of 19480 on Sunday was a excellent driver certainly knew how to drive a bus to a very high standard especially considering the child running around the lower deck i assume he was an ex coach driver or something.
