It looks very run in to the ground - a big gouge under the near side wiper in the bodywork and the rear, top, off side indicator remains permanently on as opposed to flashing. Coupled with the interior, it looks very scruffy - hopefully a case of P&P working wonders for this one but we'll wait and see....

Managed to grab a ride on both 2314 and 2328 today.

The interior of 2328 is very scruffy indeed it has a mix match of seat covers. The ride quality is not that good either, once the hand brake is taken off and the vehicle stops there is a idle vibration from the back.

2314 on the other hand is an ok ride, I found it a bit sluggish climbing even small hills such as the bridge over the station and the slight incline after the hospital, it is no more or less rattly than any other darts we currently have.

Thanks!

7635 & 7642 have not left LS, they are still parked at the back of the depot.

If St Helens are getting those new Solo's instead of Versa's then so be it, at least SH are getting some sort of new buses instead of cascades.

Thanks!

Oh I don't know I think it has a certain something going for it looks wise - I'm just a bit concerned that in 2012 Arriva are replacing Darts with vehicles that have entrances behind the driver for urban operations. This may have been fine for rural operations in the 60s, but now it's literally just a pain in the deck for the driver.
