I got to Wigan about 11:00 yesterday morning after catching the shuttle train service from Manchester Victoria-Wigan Northwestern and from what I saw Wallgate was back open to traffic

Having had a look on Flickr, it seems that St Helens Solo SRs usually work the 32 and 35 group of routes, with occasional appearances elsewhere such as the 33, 37 or even 352. If they work any other route often such as the 34, please say so here.

When I came to St Helens in January, I rode a Scania-NC, potentially my final step single-decker anywhere within Arriva and possibly any major operator!

They do occaisionally stray onto the 34's as well as the 31's as well as the very occaisional rare runs on 89 and shock horror 10/10A, although the strange thing is that apart from occaisional use on the 356, they don't tend to come out on a Sunday.

I'd noticed that St Helens Rider, they prefer to operate everything with the Pulsars! The only reason the 356 sees the SRs is because of how low the loads can be on there of a Sunday! You'd have thought they'd want more of the SRs out on a Sunday due to fuel economy but apparently not!

Just to add, the SRs are quite common on the 32, 33 and 35 series of routes as these are what they were bought for!

If I remember rightly 2324 was p&p'd not all that long before it was withdrawn from service at Bootle.

Yeah it does look like its been p+p as it is in the new livery as it can be seen from the front gates as its on the right hand side on thr end lane.
